Gary called and came off the trail to pick up the packages I sent. I sent two and only one made it. He has to stay tonight because of that but I am glad to see him relax a while. He is closing in on 2000 miles. It is getting cooler there and I sent a jacket and a camera in this package with the food, a current newspaper and a new hat also.
