Projected arrival at Katahdin, ME (end of trail) October 5!!!!  Gary called from Monson tonight and had to walk to town to call...to get service.  I doubt I hear from much until the 100 miles of wilderness is over.  He begins that tomorrow.  It seems to be finishing fast. He is sending an updated camera card so hope to have new pictures soon.

Mount Washington, White Mountains.  6288 Feet.  Looks like a place you could drive up to, however the AT crossed over it.
