Gary just called at 9:21 p.m. tonight.  He left the campsite this morning at 10 because of the rain so he said he had energy to hike on this evening. He is alone again tonight and I worry about him not at a campsite, just along the trail.  He should cross over into Maine tomorrow.  He says the trail is a muddy mess after the rain but he is walking on.
