Gary called this morning and said they had walked 12 miles the first day and 10 the second day. He walked 9 yesterday. Mark flew into Charleston this morning so Gary is going on alone.
He said he had taken pictures so hopefully I can post those when I get them.
I've got to give Gary credit for continuing on. My wife Sandie and I love to hike as well, but our trips are one day events, not three months. We had a couple of beautiful hikes up Mt. Rainier last year. I hope Gary has the stamina to make it all the way to the end.
